Chapters One and Two
Well, it seems as though all these children develop at different rates in the social, physical, and cognitive areas of development. I assumed this much before I began reading chapter one. The influence that other stimuli have on the individuals development was something that made sense, but I had not thought of the idea before. It seems that with this idea the children would be more influenced by nature.
Chapter two:
If I had a nickel for every class that we studied Freud, Skinner, Vygotsky and the others. For this reason I will focus on the last of chapter two. As a future teacher I am interested in children’s behavior and how to observe and what to look for in my observations. The longitudinal research seemed to me to be a great tool to study behavior but one would have to really keep up with data.
